This spring, the Takoma Foundation received a record number of grant applications, representing all six Wards as well as additional neighborhoods in Greater Takoma. We thank the many organizations and community groups that submitted proposals and take heart in seeing such enthusiastic engagement—signaling a community full of activism and hope. The need in our community is great and we could only fund 27% of our applicants. However, with your help, we can reach even more organizations, more community members, more neighbors in need. Please continue to give generously. Thank you for your support!
