Why is it so complicated to donate online?

The Takoma Foundation is what's known as a Donor-Advised Fund. Our fiscal sponsor is the The Community Foundation for Montgomery County, through which all our finances are processed. This arrangement reduces overhead associated with accounting, tax status, administration and other issues, enabling us to put more funds directly into grantmaking.
