Spring 2012 Grants Awarded
The Takoma Foundation awarded $15,500 to 8 grant recipients this spring. We are excited about the creative ideas that these organizations proposed for our community.
Fall 2011 Grantees Announced
The Takoma Foundation received a record number of applications (34) in its Fall 2011 grants cycle. The Foundation will distribute close to $19,000 to 16 projects, outlined below. Each of these projects demonstrates the potential for important benefits to specific groups within the community as well as the community as a whole.
Takoma Foundation 2011 Spring Grants
The Takoma Foundation is pleased to announce that it has awarded 12 grants for a total of $12,421 in its Spring 2011 grant cycle. The grant winners were announced on April 16 at the 7th annual Azalea Awards, co-sponsored by the Takoma Foundation and the Takoma Voice newspaper.

The Takoma Foundation is pleased to announce that in November, we committed $15,000 in grants for 10 local projects. The grants bring our total funding in the community to over $26,000 in 2010, which is more than double the amount we distributed in 2009. |
